Burden inherits the Bears targets
DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus are both gone from Chicago, and the pair combined for 166 targets while playing ahead of Luther Burden III for most of 2025. Burden posted elite rookie efficiency, ranking top five among wide receivers in catch rate (77 percent), yards per target (10.8), and yards per route run (2.9), and he is the most logical player on the roster to absorb the vacated work in Ben Johnson's offense. Buy him at a mid tier WR price, but budget for boom-bust weeks in a run-first attack.
Pay up for Egbuka as the Bucs WR1
Mike Evans left Tampa Bay for the 49ers on a three year deal, and Emeka Egbuka steps into the top spot in the passing game. Egbuka caught 63 passes for 938 yards as a rookie and is now Baker Mayfield's clear first read, with Chris Godwin carrying age and injury questions behind him. Year two receivers with a locked-in target share are worth paying for. Bid Egbuka up to a solid WR2 price with room for more.
Josh Downs at a discount
The Colts traded Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers in March, finally moving Josh Downs to second on the depth chart. Downs hit career lows in 2025 with 88 targets, 58 catches, and 566 yards, but he averaged 70 catches and 787 yards across his first two seasons, and Indianapolis has said his role will grow. He is priced as a WR4 with WR2 upside if the underneath targets flow his way. Target him late as a cheap volume rebound.
Bid Brooks before the buzz peaks
Jonathon Brooks will be roughly 20 months removed from his second ACL tear when Panthers camp opens, and Carolina let both Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle leave, leaving Trevor Etienne and A.J. Dillon as the main competition. His ADP has already climbed to around the 11th round and keeps rising after strong OTA reports. Bid a few real dollars now, because a healthy camp will push his price well past the bargain window.
