In-Season · Weekly Wrap Up

Every game this week, in two sentences

Each game gets a full fantasy recap the moment it goes final — what scored, who was used, and what the usage says about next week. This page is the short form: one summary per game, written by that game’s own recap, with a link through to the whole thing. Games that have not gone final yet are listed with the rest of the slate rather than left off it.

Reading this week’s slate…

How the wrap is written

  1. The recap comes first. A game’s recap is written when the feed marks that game final, and it leads the front page until the next game ends and takes its place.
  2. Three layers, every time. What scored, the targets and carries underneath it, and the usage that has not turned into points yet. The middle and the last are the ones that tell you about next week.
  3. The summary is the story’s own. Nothing here is a second draft. Each wrap is the recap’s own closing section, so the short form cannot say something the long form does not.
  4. Missing is missing. A game with no recap yet says so and says why, rather than showing an empty card that reads like a game nobody thought was worth writing about.
