Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Iron Tuna ("Iron Tuna," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Iron Tuna, LLC, operates irontuna.com (the "Service"): fantasy football rankings, projections and analysis; league-specific guidance; daily fantasy sports (DFS) information and lineup tools; betting-market information and analysis; draft valuation tools; and editorial content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

You provide: your email (if you request your cheat sheet, reminders, news, an account, or join the referral program), your referral code and payout email, questions you type into the Value Coach, the name and message you send through the support form, and the league settings you enter by hand (teams, budget, roster slots, scoring, FAAB budget).

Collected automatically: the pages you view and the in-product events you trigger, the page that referred you, the country Cloudflare reports for the request, and your browser’s user-agent string. Our own page counter does not set a cookie: it stores a salted hash of your IP address and user-agent that is regenerated every day, so the same reader is not linkable across days and we do not retain the IP address itself. When you sign in we also store the session identifier, your email and your user-agent so the session can be recognized again. Your draft preferences, saved board and manually entered league settings live in your own browser (localStorage) and are not sent to our servers unless an action requires it.

From third parties: Stripe processes payments and handles your card details directly. Iron Tuna never receives or stores your card number, expiry, CVC or bank details. What we receive back from Stripe is confirmation of the purchase and the billing email tied to it, which is what we use to attach your access. We also receive general NFL data such as schedules, team data and injury status, and market data such as game lines and totals from our odds provider. Player, roster, schedule and injury data is sourced as described on Data & sources.

If you save a league: you enter it yourself. Iron Tuna does not connect to Sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN or CBS, never asks for a password or an access token for any of them, and makes no request to any fantasy platform on your behalf. What we store is what you give us: the league’s name and size, its scoring and starting lineup, the FAAB budget, team names, and the players on each roster. You may also send a screenshot of your league’s roster grid to be transcribed into names; that image is processed and not kept. A saved league is tied to the email you signed in with, is used only to personalize your own rankings, waiver, lineup, trade and matchup guidance, and is never shown to other readers. Deleting a league removes its settings, teams, rosters and history.

How we use information

To provide and improve the Service and generate your rankings, projections, prices and guidance; to answer Value Coach questions; to process purchases and deliver what you bought; to run the referral program and pay rewards; to send transactional messages and, if you opt in, product news; to measure usage; and to protect the Service and comply with the law. We do not use your personal information to train any AI model, and we do not sell it.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with vendors as needed to run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, security, email routing), Stripe (payments), AI providers (the Value Coach sends your question and your draft or league context to a model API to generate a reply, so do not enter sensitive personal information there; the same providers generate parts of our editorial and analyst content from NFL data, not from your data), NFL and market data sources listed on Data & sources, Resend (email delivery), and Google Analytics and Google Ads (measurement and advertising tags, which set their own cookies). We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Cookies and similar technologies

We set one first-party cookie of our own, it_sess, when you sign in. It holds a session identifier, nothing else, and it expires after 90 days or when you sign out. Our own page counter sets no cookie. Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag set their own cookies for measurement and advertising; you can opt out through your browser or Google’s own controls. We also use localStorage to remember your league settings, your saved board and your preferences on this device. You can clear or block any of this in your browser, though some features will not work as well.

Your choices and rights

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@irontuna.com; much of your data lives only in your browser and is removed when you clear browser storage. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.

Data retention

We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes (such as transaction records and referral payouts), then delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including processing payments through Stripe and keeping API credentials server-side. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us information and we will delete it.

International users

We operate in the United States and process information there. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you consent to that transfer and processing.

Changes

We may update this Policy; we will revise the date above and provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
