Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Iron Tuna ("Iron Tuna," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Iron Tuna, LLC, provides fantasy football auction draft tools at irontuna.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
This is a plain-language summary and is not legal advice; it should be reviewed by counsel for state-specific (for example, California) or international (for example, GDPR) requirements.
Information we collect
You provide: your email (if you request your cheat sheet, reminders, news, an account, or join the referral program), your referral code and payout email, questions you type into the Value Coach, and support messages.
Collected automatically: usage and device data (pages viewed, features used, approximate location from IP, browser type, and a random anonymous identifier). Most of your draft preferences and saved board live in your own browser (localStorage) and are not sent to our servers unless an action requires it.
From third parties: payment confirmation details from Stripe (we never receive or store your full card number), and, if you import a league, publicly available league, roster, and player data, plus general NFL data such as team and injury status.
How we use information
To provide and improve the Service and generate your values and guidance; to answer Value Coach questions; to process purchases and deliver what you bought; to run the referral program and pay rewards; to send transactional messages and, if you opt in, product news; to measure usage; and to protect the Service and comply with the law.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with vendors as needed to run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, security, email routing), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (the Value Coach sends your question and draft context to its API to generate a reply, so do not enter sensitive personal information there), Sleeper and public NFL data sources (league and player data), our email provider, and our analytics provider. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and entitlements, and measure usage with an anonymous identifier. You can clear or block these in your browser, though some features may not work as well.
Your choices and rights
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@irontuna.com; much of your data lives only in your browser and is removed when you clear browser storage. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.
Data retention
We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes (such as transaction records and referral payouts), then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including processing payments through Stripe and keeping API credentials server-side. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us information and we will delete it.
International users
We operate in the United States and process information there. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you consent to that transfer and processing.
Changes
We may update this Policy; we will revise the date above and provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
