A.J. Brown resets the Patriots passing game

New England acquired A.J. Brown from Philadelphia on June 1 for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth. Projections put him near 130 targets and 1,200 yards as Drake Maye's clear top option, a low-end WR1 going in the late second or early third round of drafts. Drake Maye has a real QB1 overall case

Maye finished runner-up for MVP in 2025, throwing for 4,394 yards with 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions while leading the NFL in completion rate (72%) and yards per attempt (8.9). Brown is the best receiver he has ever played with, and analysts now say QB1 overall is in play. Pay up for Maye instead of settling for the mid QB tier at a similar price.

Brandon Aiyuk is a fade at any price

Aiyuk remains on the 49ers reserve/left squad list and posted that he will not file for reinstatement, which the rules require before any team can roster him. No player has lost more draft capital this summer, down 54 spots on DraftKings since May. Spend nothing on Aiyuk in redraft until he is on an active roster and practicing.

Malik Nabers opens camp on PUP

Nabers is set to open Giants camp on the physically unable to perform list after a second procedure on his right knee, with veterans reporting July 28. The realistic path is a slow ramp toward a Week 3 debut on a pitch count rather than a full Week 1 workload. Bid only at a clear discount and plan around a quiet September.
