Auction Watch: July 26, 2026
Today's auction-relevant signals, each with the player named and what it means for your bids. Verified from reputable reporting; values are projections, not guarantees.
Maye ceiling raised
The Patriots traded for A.J. Brown in early June, sending a future first round pick and a fifth rounder to Philadelphia and reuniting Brown with head coach Mike Vrabel. Drake Maye finally has a true coverage-dictating alpha receiver, and his auction price has been climbing all month. If you want a top-six quarterback finish without paying elite quarterback money, Maye is the pay-up target, and Brown himself remains worth strong WR1 money in his new offense.
Nabers discount only
Malik Nabers avoided the PUP list as Giants camp opened, an encouraging sign for his ACL rehab. But his recovery included a second offseason procedure, and reporting around the team makes clear Week 1 is not assured. He is being drafted near WR13. At that price the risk is all yours; let another manager pay full freight and bid only if he falls to a clear discount.
Brooks value window
Jonathon Brooks opened Panthers camp to strong reviews, with head coach Dave Canales saying Brooks looks like the player he remembers before the knee injuries. Rico Dowdle departed in free agency, leaving real work available behind Chuba Hubbard. With an ADP around 101 overall and RB34, Brooks is one of the cheapest upside RB buys on the board. Grab him for a few dollars before camp reports move the market.
Diggs still unsigned
Stefon Diggs remains a free agent with training camps underway, despite an 85 catch, 1,013 yard season for New England in 2025. Interest is reportedly picking up, but until he signs he has no route to fantasy value. Do not spend auction dollars on him now; if he lands with a contender before your draft, a modest WR3 price is the ceiling given the late start.
Kamara locked in
Alvin Kamara agreed to a restructured contract on July 15 that keeps him in New Orleans for 2026, ending months of trade and release speculation. His role as the Saints' passing-down back gives him a stable PPR floor. Pay a fair mid-round RB2 or flex price for the floor, but at his age do not bid expecting a return to ceiling seasons.
