Auction Watch: September 6, 2026
Today's auction-relevant signals, each with the player named and what it means for your bids. Verified from reputable reporting; values are projections, not guarantees.
Lane locks in as the Ravens' No. 3 receiver
Rookie Ja'Kobi Lane has run with Baltimore's first-team offense all through camp and sat out the preseason finale as a precaution, a sign the team already trusts him behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, per ESPN and Yahoo Sports. Lane is worth a small late bid in deeper leagues. A rookie already ahead of the depth chart in September has real weekly upside if either starter misses time.
Bryant looks like Denver's No. 3 receiver
Broncos rookie Pat Bryant has been the standout of camp behind Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle, with head coach Sean Payton praising his hands and naming him the frontrunner for the No. 3 job over Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims, per Yahoo Sports and SI.com. Bryant is worth a late speculative bid in deeper leagues. A receiver already ahead on the depth chart this late in camp usually keeps that spot once the season starts.
Swift and Odunze injury scares turn out to be nothing
Bears running back D'Andre Swift and receiver Rome Odunze both left practice early this week with injuries that looked concerning in the moment, but Swift's issue was just a cramp and Odunze's leg injury is minor, with both expected to play in the September 13 opener against the Panthers, per the Chicago Sun-Times and NBC Sports. Keep both priced as full-time starters. A scary exit from practice is not the same as a real injury, and this one resolved fast.
Tracy's stinger deepens an already shrinking Giants role
Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. has dropped to the second team behind Cam Skattebo after a missed block and a fumble in the preseason, and he is now also dealing with a stinger that could keep him out of the Week 1 lineup, per SI.com and Big Blue View. Skattebo is the clear lead back in New York. Treat Tracy as a cheap, low-priority handcuff rather than a real bid until his role and his health are both settled.
