What it is loaded with
Two boards, both built by Iron Tuna and both already scored at your settings. The rest-of-season board carries every player it projects with his remaining games, the byes inside them, the grade of the defenses ahead of him and how his usage has trended — the horizon a trade, a stash and a keeper call are decided on. The weekly board carries this week alone, with the opponent and the current injury designation, which is the only horizon a start-or-sit question has.
Each player on both boards carries three projections rather than one: the consensus from the projection feeds, the market number implied by sportsbook lines and props, and Iron Tuna’s blend of the two. The gap between the first two is the market delta, and it is the disagreement this whole site is built on. Ask about it directly — where the books price a player above the projection industry is usually where the value is.
What it will not do
It does not calculate. Every number it can say is one the boards already carry, handed to it as data, and it is instructed to quote them exactly and to say plainly when the board does not carry what you asked for. It will not add two projections together to value a trade or invent a per-game rate, because those are numbers Iron Tuna did not compute and a number that looks computed is a number a reader will act on.
It also does not act. It sets no lineup, submits no claim, accepts no trade and places no bet, and it will not tell you what to stake on anything. Which player to start is advice about a projection and is the job; how much money to put on it is not.
And it does not know your roster unless you tell it. Describe your league at My League and the boards above are rebuilt at your scoring, your team count and your FAAB budget, which is what turns “what is he worth” into an answer in your dollars. Until then the boards are full PPR and the coach says so.
