Seven verified waiver-wire adds for the opening week of the 2026 season, each with a suggested FAAB bid range scaled to role and scarcity.

MarShawn Lloyd (GB)

The NFL placed Josh Jacobs on the commissioner's exempt list following an offseason arrest, and Green Bay's early-season backfield now runs through Lloyd, Chris Brooks, and newly acquired Kaleb Johnson. Lloyd is the upside play of the group and says he is ready for a bellcow role. Suggested bid: 15-25% of remaining FAAB.

Tyjae Spears (TEN)

Spears out-snapped Tony Pollard with the first team this preseason and ran a route on half of Cam Ward's dropbacks, a real shift from the expected two-to-one Pollard split. In a pass-leaning offense, that usage is startable. Suggested bid: 8-15% of remaining FAAB.

Tyler Shough (NO)

Shough finished as the QB6 in fantasy from Weeks 12 through 18 last season while averaging 25 rushing yards per game, and he did it on a below-average touchdown rate that should regress upward. He is rostered in barely a fifth of leagues. Suggested bid: 5-10% of remaining FAAB.

Malik Willis (MIA)

Willis worked as Miami's first-team quarterback this preseason and led a 93-yard scoring drive in his first start. His rushing floor alone can carry weekly QB2 value with QB1 spike weeks. Suggested bid: 4-8% of remaining FAAB.

Kimani Vidal (LAC)

Vidal is the clear No. 2 behind Omarion Hampton with Keaton Mitchell dealing with an injury, and he posted four RB1 weeks in 2025 when called on. He is a premium handcuff in what should be a strong offense. Suggested bid: 3-6% of remaining FAAB.

Zachariah Branch (ATL)

Camp reports point to Branch earning real slot work beyond gadget touches, and Atlanta's quick-release passing game fits his catch-and-run profile. This is a speculative stash on talent and scheme fit. Suggested bid: 1-3% of remaining FAAB.

Caleb Douglas (MIA)

Douglas drew a steady drumbeat of offseason and preseason praise and looks locked into a full route role in a receiver room that needs a target earner beyond De'Von Achane. Speculative, but the path is open. Suggested bid: 1-3% of remaining FAAB.
