Eight verified waiver-wire adds on the eve of Week 1, each with a suggested FAAB bid range scaled to role and scarcity.

Tyler Allgeier (ARI)

Arizona rookie Jeremiyah Love has a high-ankle sprain from the preseason and NFL Network put his Week 1 chances at roughly 50/50 against the Chargers. Allgeier, whom the Cardinals signed in free agency after he ran for 514 yards and eight touchdowns in Atlanta last season, would take the majority of the touches if Love sits. That is a startable lead role available on most wires. Suggested bid: 10-18% of remaining FAAB.

Kayshon Boutte (HOU)

Houston traded for Boutte on August 25 after Jayden Higgins tore an ACL in a joint practice, sending a safety and a 2028 seventh-round pick to New England. Boutte caught 33 passes for 551 yards and six touchdowns last season and now has the clearest path to the perimeter No. 2 job behind Nico Collins. Suggested bid: 6-12% of remaining FAAB.

Tua Tagovailoa (ATL)

Atlanta named Tagovailoa the Week 1 starter against Pittsburgh on September 7, with Michael Penix Jr. inactive as he finishes his rehab from last November's torn ACL. A locked-in starter throwing to Drake London and Bijan Robinson is a real one-quarterback-league streamer, with the caveat that the job is week to week. Suggested bid: 4-8% of remaining FAAB.

Isaac TeSlaa (DET)

Kalif Raymond signed with Chicago in free agency, which moves TeSlaa into the full-time No. 3 receiver role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. He turned 16 rookie catches into six touchdowns on a part-time snap share. Camp reports have been mixed, so this is a buy on opportunity rather than momentum. Suggested bid: 3-6% of remaining FAAB.

Emmett Johnson (KC)

Kansas City waived Emari Demercado at final cuts, leaving the fifth-round rookie out of Nebraska as the direct backup to Kenneth Walker III. Johnson carried 251 times for more than 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns in the Big Ten last season and handled receiving work in the preseason. Walker has missed time in past seasons, which makes this handcuff worth more than the usual rookie stash. Suggested bid: 3-6% of remaining FAAB.

Dalton Schultz (HOU)

The Higgins injury vacates a large target share in Houston, and Schultz was already second on the team in targets last season. His price has not moved much, which is the point: a locked-in starting tight end in an offense that just lost its No. 2 receiver is a cheap way to fix a bad tight end room. Suggested bid: 2-5% of remaining FAAB.

Kaleb Johnson (GB)

Green Bay traded a late pick to Pittsburgh for Johnson at final cuts after Josh Jacobs was placed on the commissioner's exempt list. The Packers have said they will open the season with a committee alongside MarShawn Lloyd, Chris Brooks, and Pierre Strong Jr., so this is a bet on a 2025 third-round pick separating from a crowded room. Suggested bid: 2-5% of remaining FAAB.

Jonah Coleman (DEN)

Sean Payton has the fourth-round rookie out of Washington slotted third behind J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey, but as the between-the-tackles runner rather than the change-of-pace back. Dobbins has missed time in every season of his career. If that pattern holds, Coleman is the one who inherits the early-down work. Suggested bid: 1-3% of remaining FAAB.
